7. What do you love about KCMO?
Everything. Abundance of resources: Shopping, Medical facilities, education, museums, activities. The weather and change of seasons is amazing.
8. What is something you wish everyone knew about massage?
Massage should NEVER be painful. If a client is unable to breathe through a specific stroke application, they should inform their therapist that the pressure it too much. Otherwise, trauma to tissue will be experienced and the body will now have to heal.
If their therapist does not listen to the client’s communication and continues with deep pressure or even tells them that “Pain is good” or “They need that much pressure” the client needs to end the session in protection of their best interest.
